Big Brown Bag Sale at Wistaria Thrift Shop

If you haven't already heard, this Saturday is the annual summer Big Brown Bag Sale at . Run entirely by volunteers from the , the Brown Bag sale brings out the community for savings that'll make even the thriftiest shopper giddy.

The event takes place in the Parking lot, which also serves as the Wistaria Shop parking, located in the rear of the Essick House.

This one-day-only event runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 4.

Customers will go crazy at the chance to fill a brown bag full of goods for a single price. Many items are new or newly introduced into the inventory just for this day. The cost is only a few dollars per brown bag, well worth whatever you choose. What you end up taking home is all up to what you can scavenge before the others, your competition, bags it.

The Wistaria Shop will benefit from this sale, as all proceeds go towards the Sierra Madre Woman's Club and maintenance of the Essick House.

Invite your friends, and be sure to get there early. Past events have had patrons lining up the block to get first dibbs.

The Wistaria Shop is located at 550 W. Sierra Madre Blvd., the entrance being off of South Sunnyside Avenue.
