Not just your run of the mill dogs and cats, the beloved student pets who stole the spotlight at the annual Blessing of the Animals at The Gooden School on Thursday morning, October 3, included a corn snake, a dragon lizard, hamsters, a rabbit, fish, plus cats and dogs of all sizes. In the spirit of St. Francis, all animals were blessed by Episcopal priest Father Michael Cooper. The Gooden School is an independent Episcopal school, K - 8, honoring all faith traditions. Established in 1975, the school provides a classical education for the 21st century.
