A BMW crashed into a tree on Baldwin Ave. Monday evening, completely crushing the front end of the vehicle. The accident happened on the western side of the street just before Sierra Madre Gas Alliance and the intersection of Sierra Madre Blvd. and Baldwin Ave. Patch happened upon the accident at about 6:45 p.m. There was only one vehicle involved and no injuries, according to Sierra Madre Police Officer Ford, who was on the scene. Pieces of the vehicle littered the sidewalk, and AAA was present to aid the driver.
