British Home's June Faire is Saturday in Sierra Madre

Enjoy authentic British food, a tea room, Scottish dancers and handmade crafts on Saturday at Sierra Madre's British Home.

On Saturday, Sierra Madre's will open its grounds to visitors for the annual June Faire, according to Sierra Madre News Net.

The June Faire is an annual celebration of British heritage, and will feature authentic Scottish Dancers, a tea room, handmade crafts, traditional British food, including bangers, and much more. The event starts at 10 a.m. and last until 2:30 p.m.

The June Faire is a fundraiser for The British Home. Residents, as well as the public, look forward to the festivities each year.

The British Home is a non-profit residential life care facility for senior citizens. It was founded in 1931 by a group of women from The Daughters of the British Empire.

The British Home is located at 647 Manzanita Ave. in Sierra Madre.
