Changes to Dog Licensing in Sierra Madre

With the Pasadena Humane Society taking over dog licensing and animal control in Sierra Madre, there are a few procedural changes and an upcoming rabies clinic that residents should know about.

This month it was announced that the Pasadena Humane Society will take over dog licensing and animal control services in Sierra Madre.

As a result of the new agreement, the city will not be sending out renewal notices for dog licenses. However, residents will be able to register their dogs online using the form at http://www.pasadenahumane.org. Residents can also pick up a registration form for their canines at Sierra Madre City Hall, 232 W Sierra Madre Blvd., beginning July 1st.

Questions about licensing should be directed to PHS' licensing officers, who can be reached Tuesday through Fridays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 626-792-7151 x115 or via email at licensing@phsspca.org.
