CRAZY DOG LADIES Donate to ALS

HE CRAZY DOG LADIES, your hometown pet sitter, has taken the plunge in the now famous #icebucketchallenge.

THE CRAZY DOG LADIES, your hometown pet sitter offering full pet sitting and dog walking services, has taken the plunge in the now famous #icebucketchallenge. Jr. Dog Ladies Belinisa and Braxtyn Mikesell were “called out” via Instagram to get a bucket of ice cold water poured over their heads. Leading Crazy Dog Lady, and mom, Lori Mikesell, was happy to oblige her daughters’ willingness to participate.

Dad had something to say about it though. “If they are going to do this, they are going to do it right. No tiny buckets of tap water,” said Bobby Mikesell. Break out the 20 gallon bucket and get the ice maker going!

The Jr. Dog Ladies accepted their dad’s plan and got $25 each donated to ALS. “It was so cold,” said 6th grade Braxtyn. “I was cold all night long all the way down to my feet!” Belinisa, 8th grader at Goddard Middle School, took the challenge twice. “The second time was colder than the first time…because my dad was involved!” See their #icebucketchallenge videos and photos on THE CRAZY DOG LADIES Instagram and Facebook page!

Lori Mikesell says ALS has set out what it meant to do. “Every day Braxtyn comes home with a new fact about ALS. The ice bucket challenge has gotten our future donors aware of ALS and the many values of donating and helping others.”

THE CRAZY DOG LADIES value supporting the local community, too. They have been involved in local pet adoptions, the Glendora Dog Park opening, youth sports, and just sponsored GumbyFest in June.
