Rotary of
Sierra Madre and the Interact club will be walking on Saturday, October 26 to
raise funds for eradication of Polio. Our goal for this weekend is to raise
$10,000. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation will contribute $3.00 for every
$1.00 these clubs raise. Please join us for the walk starting at Kersting Court
at 9:00 a.m., drop cash or checks in our Pretty Penelope Polio Pig, mail a
check to PO Box 863, Sierra Madre, CA 91025. Make Checks payable to Rotary
District 5300: Note for “Polio Walk”. Immunization must continue for children
under 5 years. Rotary and other entities
are diligently bringing clean water in and dirty water out until the world
lives in a healthy environment. Every dollar counts. We appreciate your
