The Gooden School

The Gooden School is an independent Episcopal school serving students in transitional kindergarten through eighth grade in Sierra Madre, California. Founded in 1975, Gooden has spent more than five decades nurturing curious minds, strong character, and a lifelong love of learning within a close-knit and supportive community. At Gooden, academic excellence is paired with a deep commitment to personal growth. The Board normally meets on the fourth Wednesday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Conference Room. The responsibilities of the Library Board include the following: <ol> <li>Establishing Library policies and programs to ensure that quality programs are provided to the community.</li> <li>Recommending an annual budget to the City Council for approval.</li> <li>Ensuring that efficient and effective services are provided at the Library.</li> </ol>
