On Saturday morning, from 9-11 a.m., the (321 S. Myrtle Ave.) hosts this free event, where guests bring homegrown produce to exchange with others. Even if you don’t have produce of your own, you’re encouraged to come – the growers want to make sure the food is eaten, so you’re likely to walk away with a little something no matter what. Every Saturday morning at 10:30 a.m., join the folks at the Eaton Canyon Nature Center (1750 N. Altadena Dr., Pasadena, 91107) for an hour of stories, nature walks and puppet shows geared toward kids 3-5 years old!

Make your kids’ Saturday morning magical at the , (87 W. Sierra Madre Blvd.). Ever week, at 11 a.m., the playhouse offers an exciting rendition of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. General admission is $18, and children 12 and under are $12.

Every Saturday, Arcadia’s (301 N. Baldwin Ave.) has a new and exciting adventure planned for guests! These event, geared toward children, is fun for the whole family. This Saturday, a guide will take patrons on a scavenger hunt through the Aboretum. Space is limited to 25 participants, so come early! The adventure takes placefrom 10 a.m.-12 noon. Cost is free with admission.

On Sunday, September 4, check out the Pasadena City College Flea Market. This monthly event boasts food, drink, furniture, jewelry, art, household items, collectibles, records and more. Admission is free, and parking is $2. The Flea Market takes place from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. and is located at 1570 E. Colorado Blvd. in Pasadena.
