Happy Halloween: Candy, Costumes and Contests Calendar

Here's a look at today's "Halloween Happenings" activities in Sierra Madre

Downtown Sierra Madre Trick-o-Treating - (3:30 p.m to 5 p.m.)

Sierra Madre businesses are handing out candy in and around Kersting Court. Participating businesses will have a trick-o-treating sign posted in their window.  This portion of Halloween Happenings is arranged by the .

Costume Contest Registration - (4 p.m. to 5 p.m.)

The Costume Contest is sponsored by the . Registration may only be done in Kersting Court prior to the start of the costume parade.

Costume Parade - (5 p.m.)

Everyone is invited to participate in the Sierra Madre Costume Parade, and no registration is required. The start of the parade begins in Kersting Court. The is once again leading the parade down Sierra Madre Blvd. to the finish at .

Costume Contest - (5:30 p.m.)

Once parade participants arrive at , the Costume Contest begins shortly at the Bandshell Participants will be judged in the following age categories: walking-2 years, 3-4 years, 5-7 years, 8-10 years, and 11 and up. Awards for the top three contestants will be presented immediately following the judging of each age category. Remember youth must pre-register in Kersting Court to be eligible.
