Hiker Airlifted Out of Eaton Canyon

A woman injured her leg while hiking near the first waterfall Saturday morning, authorities said.

Sheriff's Air-5 helicopter airlifted a 44-year-old woman after she had injured her leg on a Saturday morning hike in Eaton Canyon, according to officers at the Altadena Sheriff's Station.

The woman was taken to Huntington Memorial Hospital to be treated for minor injuries. The Sheriff's Department got the call at 10:20 a.m.
