Home Burglarized on Santa Anita Ave.
Jewelry and assorted items were taken from a Sierra Madre home on Monday, according to police.

A home in the 2000 block of Santa Anita Ave. in Sierra Madre was burglarized on Monday, according to Sergeant Joe Ortiz of the .
A resident returned to their home at approximately 7:45 p.m. to find that the inside had been ransacked, according to Sgt. Ortiz. Jewelry and assorted items were taken; the exact dollar amount of all the stolen items is not yet available.
Police say the burglary occurred between 7:15 a.m. and 7:45 p.m. Information on how the burglars entered the home was not available. There are no suspects at this time, and it's unclear whether the burglary was committed by one or multiple thieves.

There have been a rash of similar incidents in Sierra Madre over the past couple months. A home on Grandview Ave. was also recently ransacked.
