"Solid Gold Cadillac," written by Howard Teichmann and George S. Kaufman, tells the story of a little old lady Laura Patridge, who with ten shares of stock in General Products attends a shareholders’ meeting and shakes things up.

With a few curious questions, she ends up a minority shareholder liaison determined to protect the other small shareholders by preventing corporate bigwigs from cleaning out the company for their own fortune.
"Solid Gold Cadillac" was first performed in 1953. A film version hit the silver screen staring Judy Holiday in 1956.

The play stars Georgan George as Laura Partridge as well as Kevin Allesee, Jill Bartlett, Michael Bruce, Tony Cicchetti, Aric Cushing, Jessica Fox, Sasha Golberg, Norman Igar, Jeremy Mascia and Kent Vaughan.
The play is directed by Ken Salzman, who has previously directed Sierra Madre Playhouse showings of “Leading Ladies,” “The Sensuous Senator,” and more.
