Library Children's Room Remodel Scheduled
A limited collection of children's picture, fiction and non-fiction books will be available for check out during the remodeling. Construction will be completed in time for Summer Reading Club.

It's makeover time! Renovation of the Children’s Room is slated to begin the first week in April. The whole process will take about six weeks.
But, that doesn't mean there won't be plenty of books available for checkout during the remodel. The Reference Room will temporarily house a limited collection of picture, fiction and non-fiction books.
Preschool Story Hour will continue during the remodel. However, school class visits will be temporarily suspended.

What improvements will there be?
- The entire layout of the room will be change. There will now be a Preschool Zone, a Study Zone and a Computer/Technology Zone.
- Windows will be replaced
- New bookshelves
- New furniture
- Fresh paint
- New carpet
- Emergency exit will be removed
What's the timeline like?

- During the last two weeks of March, about two-thirds of the children's books will go into storage
- During the first week of April, construction will begin
- Construction will be completed in mid-May.
- A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be scheduled in time for the Summer Reading Club
Who's paying for the remodel?
Funding for the updates came from private donations raised during a year-long fundraising drive.
