Loaded Gun, Knives and Handcuffs Stolen From Car

Locked vehicle left with back windows open. Numerous items taken including weapons and financial information.

At some time between the evening of Wednesday, July 25, and the morning of Thursday, July 26, various items were stolen from a car parked in the 500 block of West Highland Avenue in Sierra Madre, according to the .

Though the car was reportedly locked, the vehicle’s owner had left both rear windows open, according to the report.

According to police, the suspect or suspects made off with a Beretta 92FS 9mm handgun with a fully loaded magazine, handcuffs, a Leatherman tool, and a Spider company knife.

Other items taken included a U.S. Passport, a Los Angeles Police Dept. Credit Union card, an American Express credit card, a Macy’s credit card, a Well’s Fargo ATM card, a Well’s Fargo Visa card, a Costco card, a Well’s Fargo check book, a Chase check book,a small black gun bag, a gym bag with clothes, an iPod and a California driver’s license.
