Local Rocker Headed for European Stages

Sierra Madre’s Tony Brandenburg, who fronts the punk band The Adolescents, took the stage at the Ink–N-Iron festival this past weekend at the Queen Mary in Long Beach.

The three-day festival is a celebration of almost everything alternative, including rock, tattoos, burlesque, custom vintage cars and more. The festival is in its ninth year, and usually sees over 20,000 attendees.

The show was just a warm-up for what Brandenburg’s band has scheduled this summer. The Adolescents are leaving for a European tour in mid-July, and will hit Germany, the UK, Czech Republic and France before heading back to the U.S.A. in August.
