Man Found Drugged and Unconscious in Kersting Court
During the week of Sunday, Dec. 12, to Saturday Dec. 18, the Sierra Madre Police Department responded to approximately 320 calls for service. Of those calls, the following were considered most notable.

10:49 a.m. - Petty Theft at the intersection of 40 N. Baldwin Ave and Sierra Madre Boulevard: A white male suspect took an unattended Verizon Voyager cell phone valued at $150.00 while the victim used the restroom.
3:22 p.m. - Grand Theft Exceeding $400 in the 600 block of W. Alegria Avenue: Unknown suspect entered a residential garage and stole a Macintosh laptop computer worth $700.00, an appointment book worth $20.00, and a briefcase worth $100.00. The suspect is believed to be the victim's ex-husband.
Wednesday, Dec. 15:1:09 a.m. - Unlawful Transport, Sale, Gift of Marijuana at the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Michillinda: An officer stopped a motorist for a Vehicle Code violation. The driver was unlicensed, under the influence, and in possession of marijuana and evidence of transportation for purpose of sales. The officer took the Pasadena resident to the Pasadena Police Department Jail for booking.

1:24 p.m. - Lost/Stolen License Plate in the 100 block of Esperanza Avenue: This case involves license plates stolen through the mail. A Sierra Madre resident received the registration but not the license plates for his vehicle.
2:55 p.m. - Use Another's Personal Identification to Obtain Credit in the 600 block of Oak Crest Drive: A Sierra Madre resident reported that his identity was compromised and money was taken from his bank without permission.

3:33 p.m. - Under the Influence of Controlled Substance at the intersection of Sierra Madre Boulevard and Baldwin Avenue: Sierra Madre police responded to an unconscious man in Kersting Court. The 39 year old Los Angeles man was combative and under the influence of drugs. He was taken to Arcadia Methodist Hospital for treatment.
Friday, Dec. 17:10:23 a.m. - Vandalism/Graffiti at the intersection of Mountain Trail Ave and Alegria Avenue: A suspect left graffiti on the City of Sierra Madre radar trailer.
1:03 p.m. - Use Another's Personal Identification to Obtain Credit in the 700 block of Canyon Crest Drive: This case involves an unknown subject opening a bank account under someone else name without permission.
9:17 p.m. - Driving While License Restricted for DUI at the intersection of Sierra Madre Boulevard and Lima Street: An officer stopped a motorist for a Vehicle Code violation. The driver's registration was expired and restricted him from driving without alcohol in his system. The driver was cited and released in the field.
3:27 a.m. - DUI Alcohol/Drugs at the intersection of Hermosa Avenue and Sierra Madre Boulevard: An officer stopped a motorist for speeding. The 18-year-old Los Angeles resident was arrested for driving under the influence. The officer took the suspect to Pasadena Police Department Jail for booking.
12:12 p.m. - False ID to Peace Officer at the intersection of Highland Avenue and Baldwin Avenue: An officer stopped a motorist for a Vehicle Code violation. The motorist gave a false name to the officer, who determined the suspect's true identity. The suspect had a warrant for his arrest from the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department. The officer arrested him and turned the Midway resident over to the LASD.
