Photo Gallery: Arcadia Woodlands Tree Clearing Aftermath

Activist Camron Stone snapped pictures of the area that was once home to the Arcadia Woodlands and shared his photos with Patch.

More than on Jan. 12 as part of a controversial county plan known as the Santa Anita Dam Riser Modification and Reservoir Sediment Removal Project. The project removed an 11-acre oak grove so that 250,000 cubic yards of sediment from the Santa Anita Dam could be put in its place. 

Arcadia resident , who led the fight to save the trees, recently went back onto the now barren site to reflect on what was lost. He shared the pictures he took while there with Patch.
