The will be closed today, Wednesday, Oct. 5, due to the steadily pouring rain that Sierra Madre and much of the Los Angeles area is experiencing.
That rain has also led the city to raise the alert level to a Green Flag Alert. Under these conditions, their are no new parking restrictions or evacuations necessary, though residents should be prepared in case conditions worsen and the alert level is raised to Yellow or Red.
The weekly market will resume its normal hours of operation next Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., weather permitting.
