Sierra Madre Food Truck Fest to Aid Rose Float Association

Gourmet food at food truck prices benefiting Sierra Madre organizations.

If you’re like most who’ve discovered the immensely delicious “gourmet” food trucks around Los Angeles County, you’re in for a treat.

This Saturday, August 13, you don’t have to go out searching for them; the is bringing them to your doorstep.

That’s right, several food trucks serving a delicious and broad range of cuisine will be at the intersection of Sierra Madre Boulevard and Hermosa Avenue.

Best of all, the event will benefit Sierra Madre organizations, with some proceeds going to the Sierra Madre Rose Float Association.

  • Coolhaus- Build your own ice cream sandwich!
  • Nom NomHealthy, eco-friendly food. Try their Banh Mi Vietnamese sandwiches.
  • Great Balls on Tires- A fun name serving, what other than gourmet meatball creations.
  • A Rockin’ Ice- Hawaiian Shave Ice, fun for all ages.
  • Truck Norris- Another innovative name, serving mouth-watering Hawaiian Fusion such as the Notorious R.I.B.
  • Frysmith- They’ve been known to serve up Habanero Carnitas fries. Cross your fingers it’ll be on the menu this Saturday.
  • Dim Sum Truck Dumplings, buns, desserts and more.
  • Slap Yo Mama- Soul food on wheels. Fried Chicken, Mac N Cheese, Gumbo and Po’Boys. An absolute must.

The event takes place all day Saturday from 11-6 p.m. That gives you just enough time to sample as many trucks as your stomach can fit.

There will also be a new set of trucks for the second installment of the Food Truck Rally on August 27.
