Time to Break Out That Awful Necktie
Theme nights are newest part of Chamber's "Friday Night Live" concert series.
A new addition to this year’s event is weekly “themes,” one for each Friday in the coming month.
The first Friday’s theme is “Outrageous Ties,” where event attendees are encouraged to wear their most outrageous neckwear in pursuit of a weekly prize.
This week, the theme winner will receive a $25 gift certificate to and a Sierra Madre t-shirt, compliments of the Sierra Madre Chamber of Commerce.

Other themes will include Mad Hatter night, Hawaiian night and Groucho night, according to a release from Chamber Executive Director Bill Coburn.
Sponsored by the , each Friday night from July 29 until Aug. 26 will feature a musical performance and other activities intended to spur local commerce.
