Unlocked Door Leads to Unwanted Visitors

Two unidentified men allegedly walked into an unlocked home on Hermosa Ave. Thursday afternoon.

On Thursday between 3:00 p.m. and 3:30 p.m., two unidentified men walked into an unlocked home in the 100 block of S. Hermosa Ave. in Sierra Madre, according to .

A resident was home at the time, and proceeded to confront the two men, who allegedly said they were there to offer construction services, according to Watch Commander Sgt. Joe Ortiz.

The two men then left and did not cause any harm to the resident, nor do any damage to the home, according to police. No property loss has been reported.

Police say the men fled in a white Toyota or Nissan sedan with black trim that appeared to be from the 1990s.
