Outgoing Mayor Joe Mosca offers thanks to the community for allowing him to serve.
Just before handing over the gavel to on Tuesday, April 26, outgoing Mayor Joe Mosca gave some final remarks regarding his time as mayor of the city, accomplishments made during that time and the road ahead.
In their annual reorganization, the City Council unanimously elected Mayor Pro-Tem John Buchanan as Mayor and Council Member Josh Moran as the city's new Mayor Pro-Tem. Following the meeting, cake and refreshments were served to all of those in attendance.
According to an official announcement from the city following the meeting, the reorganization meeting will be re-broadcast on the city's government access channel SMTV-3 in the coming days. The meeting will also be made available in its entirety on the Internet via the SMTV-3 website.
