Walk in the Fourth of July Parade

How to walk in Sierra Madre's Fourth of July Parade with your non-profit, business, or your family and friends. This year's theme is being green and earth-friendly.

Planning for Sierra Madre's annual Fourth of July parade is well underway, and registration is now open for any non-profit, business or group of people who want to walk the parade route and cheer.

The parade will be held on July 4 at 10:00 a.m. The route runs along Sierra Madre Blvd., starting at Sunnyside Ave. and ending at Rancho Rd.

Here's what it costs to walk in the parade:

  • $25 for all business entries
  • $15 for all non-profit organization entries
  • Free for individuals (though they must first submit an application)

Participants are encouraged to support the parade's theme of being more green and earth-friendly.

How to Register

Register online by visiting www.cityofsierramadre.com/onlineregistration and clicking on the word "activities." The parade link will appear in the list. You must create a username and password to register if you don't already have one.

Register by Mail

Hardcopies of the application should be completed and returned with entry fee to: Sierra Madre Fourth of July Committee c/o Parade Entry, 232 W. Sierra Madre Blvd., Sierra Madre, CA 91024. Copies of the application can be picked up at City Hall.

Deadline

The deadline to apply is Friday, June 8. No late entries will be accepted.
