Where: New York Drive and Bradley Street in Pasadena
When: Sunday 9/11: 11 a.m.
New York Drive, which connects Altadena, Sierra Madre and Pasadena, will be dedicated as memorial to 9/11. The mayors of all three cities are slated to attend. Emergency responders, council members, and school officials will all be in attendance. The community is invited to come participate in this historic event on the tenth anniversary of 9/11.

Come rummage for furniture, housewares, collectibles, toys, crafts, tools and more.

This performance is one night only. The play features Chevoit Hill, “a stingy romantic, who has one tiny problem. He proposes marriage to every woman he meets” (Sierra Madre Playhouse). Tickets are $12-20.
Where: Eaton Canyon Nature Center
When: Friday 9/9: 7:30-9 p.m.
This is your last chance to enjoy Eaton Canyon’s monthly moonlight walks for this season. Join other walkers as the canyon stays open late. Refreshments will follow the walk. Dogs, unfortunately, are not allowed.
Where: Fannie M. Goodwin Educational Building
When: Saturday 9/10: 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
Guests attending this free event can register for two free screenings (including hearing, cholesterol, stroke, low vision, immunizations, oral cancer, bone density, blood pressure, diabetes and mammograms). Guests can also attend classes and enjoy a free hot lunch. The Goodwin building is located at 925 S Shamrock Ave. in Monrovia.
