• Ranchos Walk returns to highlight Long Beach history on Sept. 26 (sigtrib.com) — Signal Hill residents can join the free Ranchos Walk on Saturday, Sept. 26, with one of the routes taking walkers through Signal Hill's Hilltop Park and other high points around Long Beach. The annual 9.4-mile and shorter routes highlight local history, offer an audio tour, and finish with music, games, and food at Rancho Los Alamitos, with shuttles back to starting points.
