Do you know the power you have?

When I hear people complaining about issues with the city and city officials, it makes me wonder.

Do you residents from South Gate, including myself, realize we have the key to make the changes that we need to improve the quality of life in our city?

Don't take this wrong please! I'm just saying that people need to do a little research on who they choose for city officials and leaders.

I would like to know how many of you vote, and how many do their homework prior to casting your vote for city officials.

I have a list of questions for you readers:

- what would you change from our city if it was your choice?

- would you fire all city official if it was your choice and why?

- How would you improve quality of life in South Gate?

- What city department needs improvement and why?

- Do you vote?
