Movember Soccer Tournament Raises Money For A Good Cause

Mo Bro's came together on November 17th to play in the Movember Soccer Tournament at Goals Soccer Centers.  The tournament was called "The Mostacho Cup" highlighting Movembers signature moustache logo.  10 teams played in all, with the winner recieving some very nice shaving gifts from Movember, including trimmers.  The tournament was a 5v5 tournament with every team giving all out effort to be crowned champ.  Leones Negros played against Sharkeez in the finals, where Leones came out the victor.

All in all it was a great day, not just for soccer, but for raising funds towards a great organization.  The Movember Foundation raises awareness about mens cancer and health.  As mentioned in their website, "During November each year, Movember is responsible for the sprouting of moustaches on thousands of men’s faces, in the US and around the world. With their Mo's, these men raise vital awareness and funds for men's health issues, specifically prostate and testicular cancer initiatives."

JJ Owen, a representative from Movember wrote "Looks like the event was awesome...definitely a couple of good Mo's out there for sure!"  Nathan Woodbridge, Director of Operations for Goals Soccer Centers said, "We are excited at the success of our first Movember soccer tournament.  The Mostacho Cup could prove to be one of our signature yearly events, and what better way to support a great organization like Movember."
