Bus Fire on I-710 Freeway Under Control
The fire has been put out and no injuries have been reported.

The bus fire that was reported at 12:30 p.m. on the southbound I- 710 freeway, near Washington Boulevard in Commerce, has been put out by the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
“The fire has been knocked down and there are substantial lane closures,” said Inspector Tony Imbrenda, an inspector with Los Angeles County Fire Department.
The fire appears to have caused no injuries or resulted in any hospitalizations.

“We have no injuries and no transports, simply just a large vehicle fire,” said Imbrenda.
The California Highway Patrol information service reports that a detour is available near to the area of the accident. The I-710 Freeway is still slow in several areas near to the scene of the fire, but is starting to move along.
