Deputy's Cruiser Hits Pedestrian In Lynwood
The pedestrian was in "extremely critical condition, " according to report.
LYNWOOD, CA — A person was hospitalized in critical condition this morning after being struck by a Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputy's cruiser in Lynwood.
The person was struck about 6:30 p.m. Monday on Long Beach Boulevard, near Burton Avenue, according to Sgt. Benjamin Grubb of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The deputy was also taken to a hospital, Grubb said.
