Firefighters Knockdown Garage Blaze

LYNWOOD, CA- A dryer fire damaged a detached garage in Lynwood Monday night, but no one was injured.

About 25 firefighters responded to the blaze at 11661 S. El Granda Ave., near John D. Ham Park, according to Robert Diaz of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

The fire took about 17 minutes to extinguish. It was knocked down shortly after 7:15 p.m., Diaz said.
