Fryer Oil Recycling

LA Sanitation is now accepting household fryer oil that will be recycled for fuel and energy. Up to 10 gallons are accepted at a time. Be sure the oil is in a closed leak-proof container.

If you don't recycle your oil, please put the sealed container in your gray bin. DO NOT pour oil down the drain.

Christmas Tree Recycling

For two weeks after Christmas (Dec. 27 - Jan. 6), Waste Resources will collect your tree for recycling into compost or mulch. Residents may place their trees next to their carts on their regular collection day for free pick up. Trees over 6 feet tall need to be cut in half. Please remove all lights, decorations, tinsel, ornaments, and metal or plastic stands (wood stands are okay). Do not place your tree in a bag.

Reciclaje de Aceite de Freír

Reciclaje del Árbol de Navidad

Por dos semanas después del día de Navidad (Dic. 27 - Ene. 6), Waste Resources recogerá su árbol para
reciclarlo a abono o pajote. Residentes pueden poner sus árboles al lado de sus botes el mismo día de su servicio regular para una recogida gratis. Arboles más de seis pies de altura deben ser cortados a la mitad. Por favor, quite todas las luces, decoraciones, oropel, adornos, y soportes de metal o plástico (soportes de madera están bien). No coloque su árbol en una bolsa.
