Happy 99th Birthday To The City Of Lynwood!

Ninety-nine years ago, Lynwood was officially incorporated as a city. The City was named after the Lynwood Dairy and Creamery, a 400-acre dairy farm located at what is now Sanborn and Long Beach Blvd. And the name Lynwood? It came from the wife of the daily owner, Miss Lynne Wood.

Today, Lynwood is a vibrant community of more than 70,000 proud residents!
