Lynwood Agnes Street Improvements Continue

Improvements to Agnes Street (between Bullis Road and Atlantic Avenue) are continuing with street resurfacing, partial replacement of the sidewalks, curb ramps and sewer as well as water main improvements.

The Public Works Department recently held a successful meeting with area residents to let them know about the project and what they can expect during construction.

Street improvement projects such as the one on Agnes Street rely on federal funding based on the Census. It is important that every Lynwood household responds, so the City obtains the correct funding.

The deadline to respond to the Census is September 30. Remember, every person needs to be counted regardless of citizenship status.
