Lynwood: Be Prepared For Rain Original Text

A big rainstorm is headed toward Lynwood, with expected rainfall of 2-4 inches.

If you need sandbags, they will be available at the Public Works Yard (11750 S. Alameda St., Lynwood) from 8am-5pm. You can call 310-603-0220 ext. 801.

To obtain sandbags, please adhere to the following:

• Bring proof of Lynwood residency.
• Wear a mask.
• Practice safe physical distancing.

Also, Lynwood Public Works Crews will barricade certain streets in the City that are prone to flooding. Please obey all safety signs and do not go beyond the barricades.
