Work is well underway on the new playground system at Burke-Ham Park!

Work started in February. You may remember the groundbreaking ceremony with our City Council members last month. The work is scheduled to be completed in May.
The new playground system will consist of:

- New Play system for older kids 7yrs-12yrs
- New Swing system for all ages
- Refurbished surfacing of existing play area
You’ll see other improvements throughout the park, including:
- New landscape and hardscape
- New lighting
- New irrigation system
- New planting of trees and shrubs
- Safety Fencing
- Seating Areas
Other improvements throughout Lynwood’s parks:
- A new skate park/pump track is in the early design stages. We’ll keep you posted!
- A new teahouse/café is opening soon!
The City is working hard to make sure that Burke-Ham Park continues to be a wonderful place to play, workout and relax for our entire community!
