Lynwood Coronavirus Cases Slow - Be Careful On Labor Day Weekend

The number of COVID-19 cases reported in the city of Lynwood sits just under 3,000 today (Friday). The good news is that the number of cases reported in our city in the last week have been the lowest in over two months.

We urge you to be careful this Labor Day weekend.

We all know that holiday weekends are an ideal time for families and neighbors to get together. If you remember, the number of COVID-19 cases in L.A. County dramatically increased in June right after the Memorial Day weekend.

Let’s not let that happen again.

Please practice good hygiene:

• Wash your hands with soap and water for 20 seconds
• Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
• And practice physical distancing.
• Avoid people outside of your household
• Maintain a safe physical distance of 6 fee from others
• Don’t attend large gatherings
