Lynwood: Lilita Street Improvements Original Text

This month, Lynwood’s Public Works Department started work on the Lilita Street Improvement project.

The project includes the reconstruction of the existing storm drain and the addition of underground storage facilities in the street designed to handle the storm water flow before it enters to the existing storm drain. The result of this work will be less street flooding during heavy rains.

The work will also include partial street resurfacing and partial replacement of concrete sidewalks, curbs and gutters.

Thank you to the Public Works Department for your work to improve the City of Lynwood’s infrastructure.

And thank you to the Lilita Street residents for your patience during the construction period.
