After last week’s rain, the City of Lynwood’s Public Works Department was hard at work!

Here is just a very small sample of the work crews performed this week:

Public Works crews repaired more than 230 potholes – more than 90 on Lindbergh between Josephine and Cedar and more than 140 on Wright Road.

Additionally, crews cleared 94 miles of Lynwood alleys of debris, illegally dumped items and other trash. The following alleys were cleaned:

  • 4000 block of the Walnut Alley
  • 4000 block of the Lugo Alley
  • Halo/Carlin alley
  • Clark Alley
  • Carlin South Alley

This week four households were invoiced for the cost of cleaning and disposing of illegally dumped items. Reminder – you will be billed if you are found to have illegally dumped on public property.
