The trees are a great addition to the project and will be well-received by the residents. Besides the Australian Willows, the project consisted of new water lines, new fire hydrants, new water valves with valve boxes, resurfaced street, along with new curb and gutter replacement and new sidewalks.
Infrastructure projects such as the one on Brewster Avenue are funded through a combination of local tax revenue, federal funding based on the Census and other sources.
