Lynwood Places Measure LH On November Ballot Original Text

Measure LH will impose a 3% gross receipts tax gross receipts tax on for-profit hospitals and all funds will go into the city's general fund

The City of Lynwood has placed Measure LH on the November 3 ballot as a tax on for-profit hospitals where revenue generated will go to expand city services and programs currently being provided by the city. In addition, funds will help offset the costs the city has endured due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Lynwood residents will NOT pay anything if this tax measure is approved.

Measure LH will impose a 3% gross receipts tax gross receipts tax on for-profit hospitals and all funds will go into the city’s general fund.

Funds generated will help residents recover from COVID-19, develop affordable housing, maintain and enhance vital public safety, infrastructure improvement projects along with parks and recreation services and programs.

On November 3, let your voice be heard and vote. After October 6, you will receive your ballot and can immediately vote by mail, vote in person at select Vote Centers starting October 24 (locations to be announced in early October) or vote on Election Day at your local polling location.
