Lynwood Street Improvement Projects Progress

The Brewster Avenue Street Improvement Project continues as crews work to remove and replace portions of concrete sidewalks, curbs/gutters, driveways and curb ramps as well as the removal and reconstruction of street sections in need of repair. Crews are also putting new asphalt of the entire street section and adjusting all storm rain/sewer/utility maintenance hole covers.
Lynwood’s infrastructure projects depend on federal funding that is based on the Census. That’s why we need every Lynwood household to respond to the 2020 Census before September 30. If every person, regardless of age or citizenship status is counted, our community will get its fair share of federal funding.
