As of today, 58% of you have responded. Unfortunately, that’s not enough. We need every person counted – regardless of age or citizen status.

You may not realize it, but federal funding based on the Census affects every part of our Lynwood community – that includes youth programs, senior meals, healthcare and housing assistance, education and public safety funding, improving and maintaining our streets and so much more.

If you haven’t responded, you may receive a visit from a Census taker. They are visiting households that haven’t answered the Census. When they visit, they will identify themselves and carry official Census gear. If they do visit your house, please take the time to answer their questions. Census takers may also leave a Census questionnaire you can complete – it takes less than 10 minutes.
