The November 3 General Election is just around the corner. Not only will Lynwood residents be voting for the U.S. President, but locally, you will vote for two Lynwood City Council members, the City Clerk, the City Treasurer, City of Lynwood Measure LH, Los Angeles County Measure J, your local Congressperson, two California state representatives (Senate and Assembly) and 12 California propositions.

By now you should have received your Official Voter Information Guide in the mail from the California Secretary of State’s office. Here are some key dates you need to know:
October 5- Ballots will be mailed to every registered voter.

October 19 – The last day to register to vote in the November 3 election. You can register at: https://lavote.net/home/voting...
If you miss the deadline, Same Day (Conditional) Voter Registration is also available.
October 24- Select Vote Centers across Los Angeles County will open for early voting. Locations TBA.
October 30- All Vote Centers across Los Angeles County will open for early voting.
November 3- Election Day
Ways to return your ballot:
By mail – No Postage Necessary
In person st a local Vote By Mail Drop Box. In Lynwood there are two locations: Rose Park (Flower St. and State St.) and the Lynwood Library (11320 Bullis Road). You drop off your ballots at any time.
In person at any Los Angeles County Vote Center.
