Man Killed, Another Wounded in South Gate Shooting
A coroner's lieutenant said the deceased victim was reported to be in his 20s.

SOUTH GATE, CA - One man was wounded and another killed in a shooting this afternoon in South Gate.
The shooting was reported about 5:50 p.m. in the 4900 block of Mason Street, according to Deputy Juanita Navarro-Suarez of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Information Bureau.
A man described as "the victim" was taken to a hospital, where he was being treated tonight, and the other man, described as "the suspect," was pronounced dead at the scene, Navarro-Suarez said.
