Man Shot to Death in Lynwood ID'd as Alejandro Salazar
The motive for the shooting was not known, authorities said.

A 43-year-old man shot and killed on a Lynwood street was identified Monday by the coroner’s office as Alejandro Salazar of Lynwood.
The shooting was reported in the 2700 block of Norton Avenue about 4:40 p.m. Sunday, said sheriff’s Deputy Sara Rodriguez.
Witnesses told deputies a black SUV pulled up, a man got out and shot Salazar numerous times before getting back into the vehicle, which left the scene west on Norton Avenue, according to Deputy Kelvin Moody.

Salazar was taken to a hospital where he later died, Moody said.
The motive for the shooting was not known, authorities said.
