Man Shot, Killed on Lynwood Street

A man was shot and killed Monday on a street in Lynwood.

The shooting occurred about 4:40 p.m. in the 2700 block of Norton Avenue, according to sheriff’s Deputy Sara Rodriguez.

The victim was taken to a hospital where he later died, Rodriguez said. His name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.

A motive for the shooting was unknown.
