Man Shot, Killed by Unknown Assailant at Store Counter
Witnesses said the male suspect approached the victim from behind, opened fire and then ran.

COMPTON, CA - A man was shot and killed by a suspect who walked up to a store counter where he was standing and fired several shots, sheriff's investigators said.
It occurred just after 10:15 p.m. Saturday in the 2800 block of East Alondra Boulevard, according to Deputy Lisa Jansen of the Sheriff's Information Bureau.
Deputies responded to a call about a gunshot victim and found the man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead.
