SOUTH GATE (CNS) - South Gate police asked for the public's help today in finding a medication-dependent, 79-year-old man reported missing Monday.
Carlos Vasquez, who left his South Gate home about 9 a.m. yesterday, was believed to have taken a bus to Los Angeles, South Gate police said. Vasquez is about 5 feet 5 inches and 165 pounds, with brown eyes and short gray hair.

He was wearing a dark jacket with black tennis shoes, police said. Anyone with more information as to his whereabouts was asked to call police at (323) 563-5457.
