Second Man Dies From Injuries Sustained in Recent Shooting
The identity of the man is being withheld by authorities until notification of kin. The man was shot along with anothe,r who was found dead on the scene, on Dorothy Avenue.

SOUTH GATE (CNS) - A second man has died of wounds suffered in a shooting in South Gate last weekend that left a man dead at the scene, authorities reported today. The shooting occurred about 7:45 p.m. Sunday in the 10500 block of Dorothy Avenue.
Daniel Pereyra, 30, of Huntington Park died at the scene, said coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter. A second man wounded in the attack died about 10 a.m. Thursday, Winter said.

Authorities withheld the name of the man, who was in his 30s, pending notification of his relatives. No arrests have been made. Anyone with information on the case was urged to call the sheriff's Homicide Bureau at (323) 890-5500.
